Description
This is a relist and I've lowered the price. The Beatles "Rubber Soul" early pressing still factory sealed old-style paste-on front slick with the number 9 pressing plant on the back. Apparently 'number 9's' indicate this was made at the Jacksonville, Illinois plant. According to Bruce Spizer's book, the Jacksonville plant began using 9 in the late 1960s. We don't know if this is a black label rainbow or a later issue. The gentleman who gave it to me was given it in 1972...he was a DJ. It is virtually like new with no promo holes, cutouts etc. It has two breathe holes in the shrinkwrap, and the seal is perfect. It does not have a "needle damage" statement on the back. No reserve.
