Description

Up for sale is a third-state mono Beatles Yesterday and Today "Butcher Cover" LP. The album jacket and record were manufactured at Capitol Records Los Angeles plant. I bought this album in 2000 at the "Fest for Beatle Fans" from Blue Jay Way Galleries, who were renowned for their professional butcher cover peel jobs. In case you didn't know, the picture with The Beatles around a steamer trunk was pasted over the original cover by Capitol. Most of the "peel jobs" that you see out there were not done right, and they damaged the original cover, but this cover is a 10!

This was professionally peeled. The album jacket is in near-mint condition. There are no seam splits and the spine is intact. It will be hard to find a better third state peel job than this one.

The vinyl itself grades at VG++ condition according to Goldmine standards. There are a few unfeelable scuffs on each side which do not affect play. The LP plays quietly.

This is a fine quality collector's item. Bid with confidence. PayPal only. Will ship internationally, although there are some exclusions.
