Description

You are bidding on a solid mono copy of the famous collectible record album from The Beatles titled “Yesterday and Today” (Capitol T-2553). It it a 2ND STATE “BUTCHER COVER.” This is the REAL thing (100% guaranteed authentic)! The pictures below say it all. This is a 2nd state with pasteover Trunk slick. It is shocking how visible the original cover is. Not only is Ringo's V-neck visible below, so is his face and smile. I took several pictures so the condition will be clear to the buyer. The front is super nice!!! The spine is nice and clearly readible. There is some very slight tearing up in the upper right corner which exposed the number, but the "File Under: The Beatles" remains below the Trunk but is visible through it. The Truck slick was set slightly crooked and, as a result, you can see a sliver of the Butcher Cover below on the bottom from the center to the opening. There is also a slight discoloration from a store sticker (postage stamp sized) in the very lower left corner which could probably come clean with effort. The back cover isn't as nice. As you can see, there is ringwear, initials, and an "X" written on the back. The vinyl is a nice VG+ with some hairlines, a super gleam, and great labels (one blemish near spindle) with no major flaws and is housed in the original Capitol sleeve. This LP comes from pressing plant "6" (West Coast) as shown in the bottom right corner of the back of the jacket. The only seam splits are very small on the top (0.5 in.) and bottom (1.5 in.), both at the opening. The spine has NO SPLITS. Buyers in the US will pay $6.00 Media Mail Postage for a double packing and insurance. Buyers in Canada will pay $15.00 Airmail Postage and buyers in Europe will pay $20.00 Airmail Parcel Postage. Rates are higher than normal because airmail parcel postage must be purchased in order to get shipping insurance from the US to another country. Shipping insurance is a must for this item.
