Description
Up for auction is an authentic 1966 MONO 2rd State "Butcher" cover of the Beatles release, Yesterday and Today. Vinyl: VG plays throughout with minimal surface noise, NO SKIPS, minor surface marks on both sides, original yellow Capitol sleeve intact Jacket: G+ (one small split along bottom (see picture), some wear along spine, unpeeled Trunk cover paste over. Name in pen on front cover. This is a great rare authentic example of this album that was made for its release in North America.
Scranton press with IAM inside a triangle stamped in both side's runout.
Runouts are stamped except #2 and #3 that are hand etched.
Released on a black Capitol label with rainbow rim with "Mfg. by Capitol Records, Inc." at bottom.

GRADING
Mint (M): The Jacket remains sealed in original factory shrink. Vinyl is unplayed.
NEAR MINT (MN):The vinyl has been played and shows no obvious sign of wear with high gloss and sound quality. The jacket has no noticeable defects.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+):The vinyl shows little signs of having been played, may have light surface scratches and maintains high sound quality and gloss, may have some slight noise in start and fade and in quiet passages. The jacket may have slight wear.
VERY GOOD (VG):The vinyl has been played and handled with some surface scratches and may have some slight noise/pops/hiss but not overbearing. The jacket shows signs of wear without major defects. May contain writing or stickers.
GOOD PLUS (G+) The vinyl has been played and does not skip, surface noise noticeable during playback. Jacket many have splits, tape, writing, ring wear or other defects present.
I do my best to describe both the vinyl and jacket. All LPs are wrapped in bubble packing and shipped in a durable cardboard box ideal for record size. U.S. shipping is via MEDIA MAIL.
