THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 2nd MONO ISSUE LP
***NEAR MINT DECCA PRESSING***
Pressed in very limited quantities by Decca Records (in mono only) at the request of EMI in early 1964.
These pressing are chiefly identifiable by the distinctive 'groove' around the label.
Although pressed on slightly thinner vinyl than their EMI counterparts, they retain top Decca sound quality.
This NEAR MINT 1963 DECCA mono '2nd pressing' is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels bear the distinctive Decca deep 'groove' running 1.5cms from the label's edge.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse 'large' mono logo ..'Got A..' cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N
Stamper numbers: 10,11 & 3

Small written initials in the yellow '£' sign.

Pristine, perfect 'shop-fresh/as new' surfaces when viewed both in daylight & directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Very close inspection reveals one or two wispy paper hairlines but absolutely no scuffs, scratches.
Unquestionably 100% flat on both sides without any signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played only a few times, all tracks play totally 'as new' with absolutely no crackle or groovewear on any tracks in either channel.
Both run-ins & all bands play 100% silently with not a single tick or click to be heard anywhere & certainly no jumps or repeats.
You will not be disappointed.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
This superb example has a perfect, unscratched front laminate with just a few light spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or other creases at all.
The corners are all clean & un-bumped and the opening edges are completely unworn & 'as new' on both sides.
The rear panel is otherwise bright and white with no age discolouration, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in 100% perfect condition with no damage or wear whatsoever.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
