Beatles White Album,7 title errors,NEAR MINT original 1968 RARE

First off. I'm not a collector of USA Beatles albums. With that said, this one has everything a serious collector could want. CONDITION MEANS EVERYTHING ! I've seen many of these with all the printing errors go for a lot of money, and the condition of the records were terrible aka graded as " good" . ( Just heard from owner. Apparently there was a sticker of song tracks on back cover,that was removed ) Here is what I know of this album. Pressed in Scranton, PA. Cover printed by Queens Lithography ( Apparently this one has a cover,that was not quite right,and not supposed to be used )  Number on cover A 1402215 ( I have no idea where that comes in the pecking order,but know that the numbered covers and records that went in them,was arbitrary)  Catalog SWBO 101. Matrices  Side one SWBO 1-101-J-46-#3  Side two SWBO 2-101-J-45 with small 11 #2 Side three SWBO-3-101-J-47 with small 11 ( faint number 1, I think ? ) Side four SWBO-4-101-J-44- #4 I don't know how to read American Capitol ( Apple ) matrices, but it appears 44-45-46-47 . Cover,poster,pictures and what looks like tracing paper .  The cover has some situation on the back. Don't have a clue what it is . The inside of gatefold with the four black and white pictures of the Beatles apparently didn't come out right. There is very little definition to the photos,almost gray,rather than black . The poster. It appears to maybe have been taken out once to look at and put back inside cover. I have not opened it, as this album is close to fifty years old, and if the poster is as superb as it appears to be,I'll just leave it, unless a buyer wants me to open it.  The photos . All VG+, a possible bump on bottom of one, no big deal. All very clean ,no pin holes,tape etc. There is a tissue paper ,but one only tissue between Paul and George.  Look at the pictures. Records and labels are Near Mint. Look like new. Cover is difficult to grade, only because of line on back of cover. It looks like something was adhered there,possibly the track listing, but it is what it is. This cover is EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN ! Hardly any ringwear . Near Mint when you open gatefold. There is nothing even close to a seam or spine split . TOTALLY INTACT ! The White is white . The spine perfectly legible . Had it not been for the back line on cover, it would be a strong EX . That and the printing inside gatefold is terrible quality .  That is the way it is. This came from a Nashville collector. He has been in the music business for over fifty years . This was given to him,back in the day, I'm sure. I honestly don't know if records were ever even played. On his insistence, I'm going over the title errors AGAIN ... I'll include Rocky Racoon , although, it's common ... 1. "Bungalow Bill" should be " the continuing story of Bungalow Bill " 2. "  Oblade-Oblada " should be " ob-la-de ob-la -da" ( hyphenated) 3. "Goodnight " should be two words " Good Night " 4. " Revolution No.1 " should be " Revolution 1 " 5, " Revolution No. 9 " should be " Revolution 9 " 6. " Why don't we do it in the road " should be " Why don't we do it in the road ? " missing question mark . 7. " Rocky Racoon" should be " Rocky Raccoon " Two " c" s. This misspelled track is common , the other are not common and all seven are rare ,and considering the condition of this album. Very rare ... I don't know why eBay .NOT ME put " sleeve " meaning " cover " as NEAR MINT. I put it at VG+ because of the removed sticker. I might add, where the track listing "sticker" was on back cover, there is NO rip in the paper of the cover,just faint residue ,maybe you could even get it off,it's just residue and didn't rip anything. If you can remedy that,you would have an EX cover.

More information. Go to website frikteck.com. Put in Beatles White Album serial numbers. I've verified this through three different site within ten minutes. This was the 12,215 th album cover printed . One thing I forgot. Nothing even close to any seam splits on cover and opening where records go in,looks like new. Absolutely no wear !
In Scranton,PA. The covers for the very first ,very early pressings went like this.  Los Angeles, CA. 02 to 500,000 ( the first 01 was actually a one off in Scranton, not Los Angeles , hence the number 2 )  Jacksonville ,FL. 500,000 to 1390000 ( so we are starting with five hundred thousand and ending with one million,three hundred ninety thousand. Scranton ,PA. Beginning with one million three hundred ninety thousand and one  ( 1,390,001 ) going up to 2,100,000 .  What this means. If you had a Scranton cover with 1,390,001 you would technically have a number 1 cover.  There were 800,000 ( minus 1 ) covers printed for the FIRST PRESSING WHITE ALBUM MADE IN SCRANTON ,PA. YES ! That's EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND first pressing covers.  This one I'm selling, was in the mix, and withdrawn because of the printing on inside of gatefold. The pictures are all light gray, Ringo very light gray. Those circles, like many Beatles albums I've seen are "inspected by " you can see them on bottom of back cover where what is assumed to be a tracking listing, is more likely to be a rejection of the cover,hence the man that owns this in Nashville , was given the record, probably as a throw away because of cover. Who knows what it said, he says track listing, I think more likely printing problems ? Point being, this is a very early cover printed in New York, I imagine . It is the 12,215 cover printed ,out of 800,000 ... That's twelve thousand as opposed to eight hundred thousand .  I'm taking a commission on this record, do I've done my homework. There is a very well known seller that has written books about Beatles records that would price this in the $5000.00 range , no doubt about it. Given condition,rarity etc.
