Description

Beatles White Album With Errors. This is an AWESOME find! Here with have a 1968 The Beatles White Album and it’s numbered. Based on the A in front of the number, this was cut in Scranton, PA and was among the very first made there, A1424586. Scranton album numbers started at 1,390,000 so this is like getting a number less than 35,000 out of their 890,000!

We can also confirm that all 7 (6) errors are present on this album, so it’s definitely an early piece. The songs on the first pressed apple labels were misspelled. This problem was discovered pretty quickly and only a certain number were actually released this way, making this album set even rarer.

1. "The Continuing Story of Bungalo Bill" says just "Bungalo Bill".

2. & 3. "Revolution 1" says "Revolution no. 1" & "Revolution 9" says "Revolution no. 9".

4. "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" says "Obladi Oblada"

5. "Why Don't We Do it in the Road?" is missing the question mark

6. "Good Night" says "Goodnight"

7. "Rocky Raccoon" is misspelled "Rocky Racoon"

i have more photos I can send of the other side if you need them. I could only do 12 on the app.

Thank you.

Sound quality is decent. It has pops but no skips. There is a blemish on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”, but it is does not skip there. All 4 sides have been played to It has been played and well loved.

Flaws: Scuffed & light staining on the album throughout. Bottoms to both sides are split about 2/3rds the way down. There are no posters or pictures included. On the inside, a once young fan wrote the names of The Beatles above their pictures.

Dead wax also confirms early recordings:

Side 1: SWBO1-101-J47

Side 2: SWBO-2-101-J45 #3

Side 3: SWBO3-101-J48 #4

Side 4: SWBO4-101-J44 #3
