1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING

**NEAR MINT MISSPELT 'ROCKY RACOON' LABEL'**

This NEAR MINT UK 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple labels: PCS 7067/8
The side 2 label carries 'ROCKY RACOON mispelling on label 2.
All labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' & the 'An EMI Recording' statement.
There is no tax/price code is visible on any label.

Housed in a fully laminated, top-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo cover, numbered: No. 0254415.
Complete with original matt-black inners, matt poster, four thick card colour photos & white paper photo-spacer.

Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-2, 712-1
Stamper numbers: 3/TT, 8/GAL, 4/TR, 6/RL

Disc 1

Disc 1 labels: MINT

No spindle marks.

Disc 2 labels: NEAR MINT

Just a single tiny spindle mark to each label.

BOTH DISCS

Visual: NEAR MINT

All surfaces are pristine/'as new' condition viewed in strong direct daylight, with no marks, scuffs or scratches to any side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy sleeve removal/paper hairline but no further marks or wear.

Audio: NEAR MINT

This disc has received just one or two or three careful plays on top quality equipment there is no trace of any groovewear distortion on any side.
All tracks plays with any background noise or indeed any significant or major audible faults

Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS

Superb, clean and very white example with a clean & high-gloss laminate showing just a very faint disc impression from storage.
The front panel bears a 3cm indentation but is in otherwise perfect condition with no creasing or other wear.
All four corners are clean, square & unbumped and all the top opening edges are unworn.
The spine is clean & fully laminated with all the wording covered, clean & clear.
The inside gatefold is in perfect 'as new' condition.
