1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING

**MISSPELT 'ROCKY RACOON' LABEL'**

This excellent UK 1st stereo pressing is on the dark green Apple labels: PCS 7067/8
The side 2 label has the misspelt 'ROCKY RACOON title on label 2.
All labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' & the 'An EMI Recording' statement.
There is no tax/price code is visible on any label.

Housed in a fully laminated, top-loading 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo cover, numbered: No. 0479282.
Complete with original matt-black inners, matt 'Garrod & Lofthouse' poster, four thick card colour photos & white paper photo-spacer.

Matrix numbers: YEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-2, 712-1
Stamper numbers: 4/GGO, 4/LD, 2/GMT, 1/RM

Disc 1

Labels: NEAR MINT

Visual: NEAR MINT

Both surfaces are pristine/'as new' condition viewed in strong direct daylight with no marks, scuffs or scratches to either side.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy sleeve removal/paper hairline but no further marks or wear.

Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS

This disc has received just two or three careful plays on top quality equipment and the sound throughout is clean & clear.
There is no trace of any groovewear distortion & part from an occaisional soft tick on some quieter passages, there is little to fault.
There are no heavy clicks, pops, jumps repeats or any other significant or major audible wear on either side.

Disc 2

Labels: NEAR MINT

Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS

Both surfaces are again clean & glossy with just a single stylus hairline and two faint fingernail marks on side 3.
Side 4 bears some minor inner-sleeve removal marks under halogen light but no further marks or wear.

Audio: NEAR MINT

This disc has been barely played and all tracks play without crackle or groovewear distortion.
There are no ticks, clicks, jumps or any other trace of audible wear on either side.

Cover: EXCELLENT

Made from thick card stock, this example is clean & strong with just light storagewear only and no major faults.
The front panel has some areas of mild toning, but largely retains a good 'whiteness' with a glossy, unscratched laminate.
There is a light bump to the lower corners but the top opening edges have been hardly touched and have no tears or feathering.
The spine is clean but has some laminate split. However, all the text is readable and undamaged clean.
The inside gatefold is in perfect condition and is clean & unmarked.
