LP
 -Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through all tracks on all sides.

Side 1 - Visually graded Excellent-  a visible scuff on track7, which had no effect at all on the sound track; and some superficial rubbing which becames visible in strong light. Play grading was Excellent + I heard no ticks, no clicks, no hops or jumps, and no sticks.  No noticeable background noise between tracks - just great sound.  Side 2 was visually VG++  a short light scratch in track2 and in track 5 and some light rubbing.  Play of the whole side was VG++ overall.  Play was found to be Excellent throughout the side with no ticks or clicks or hops or other noises, except midtrack in Raccoon/Pass me by where the scratch gives occasional quiet clicks.  Side 3 - visually EX- , one short superficial light scratch  on track2 which had no effect on the sound track, and some light rubbing. Play was EX+++  this is a side that you know is going to sound wonderful just from hearing the first few bars.  Sound of the whole side was wonderful with no flaws noticed, and varying from EX to Nearmint quality.  Side 4 - visually graded VG+ due to one light scratch.  Play overall was graded VG++ with no ticks, no clicks, no hops etc except in one place.  At the end of track4 Cry Baby and the start of track5 revolution9, there were six noticeable regular ticks.
95 minutes of wonderful MONO sound, The MONO mix, which was done by the Beatles themsleves, has quite a number of small differences from the stereo mix done by the Apple engineers.  Details available on request.
