THE BEATLES ( VERY RARE UK 1st PRESS - THE BEATLES ( WHITE ALBUM ) FROM 1968, 100% COMPLETE with ORIGINAL DARK GLOSSY PICTURES including WHITE DIVIDER ! SUPERB WHITE TOP OPENING GATEFOLD COVER ( No 0517156 ) / ORIGINAL DIE-CUT BLACK INNER SLEEVES / ORIGINAL EARLIEST ISSUED LYRIC / POSTER / DARK APPLE LABELLED VINYLS AND THE VERY RARE -2 TRANSITIONAL MATRIX NUMBER FOR SIDE 3 !!! ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION !!!!

Released 22nd November 1968 both Mono and Stereo issues , there's alot of speculation surrounding this classic double album with many un-answered questions as to how many exist and who got the first issues, EMI recording on the labels , Dark green /light green apple labels , miss-printed labels etc etc ...
Many countries that pressed their own vinyls could not produce their own covers so many countries recieved original UK top opening covers ! so as to how many same numbers exist is anybody's guess ? As for the EMI Recording text on the labels , both types were used on original early 1st presses ( some with and some without ) One thing for sure is the earliest Dark Green Apple labels were used on the earliest issues with sold in uk...... and the original darker , glossy prints with a thin matt seperation divider were used , the poster has the lipstick picture and the correct EMI gramophone co.ltd text on the bottom corner , complete with the custom made charcoal black inner sleeves ( issued for many years throughout the apple range) and all housed in a fully laminated top opening Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover.

COVER This is the original fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Top opening gatefold 1st Issued cover. Very clean and bright example , becoming extremely hard to find a nice example with this being bright white and completely laminated and having to house 2 records,picture and poster ! all takes it's toll and most are found badly worn on the top edges, seriously yellow stained and badly creased. This one however has managed to survive extremely well , easy to see that this has been very well cared for and stored properly.The top opening edges are near perfect with no tears or feathering etc , the laminate is in great shape with high gloss shine and nothing more to fault than a couple of thumb-push creases which are only visable on angled viewing ! very bright and white with no yellowing or tarnishing ! the spine is very clean with no cracking or laminate lifting just the unavoidable crease caused from opening the cover, there is a very very light bruise on two corners but these are very minor. Otherwise it's in top condition and a lovely example , very hard to find a nicer example EXCELLENT+ CONDITION INNER SLEEVE These are the correct issued custom made die-cut holed charcaol black inners , both of which are in very clean shape with nothing more than some light storage creases, super condition ( see-pics) VINYL All sides have a stunning deep glossy shine and at first glance look immaculate ! upon closer inspection under bright lighting a couple of very faint hairlines are present , maybe 2 to 3 on sides 1,2,3 and on side 4 there are 2 tiny marks which are not deep or scrathes more of a dirt mark which could probably be removed , these are only tiny and measure 3 mm at most and are not disturbing the audio performance . All sides play through very well with clear , sharp sound with barely any distractions , No pops, skips or repeats , no nasty clicks and just a hint of low level static - background noise on the odd occassion between tracks . There is no evidence of groove wear and it's easy to see and hear these records have been carefully handled and played on high-end equipment. A super nice set of this classic double album, Visualy side 1,2,3 grade EXCELLENT CONDITION side 4 EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION and Audibly 1,2,3 EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION side 4 EXCELLENT CONDITION THE LABELS Original 1st issued dark green apple labels with sold in uk...text and EMI recording to all sides .Side 1 , 2 & 3 are in very clean and bright condition with no writing , marks etc just a couple of very faint spindle traces, all in EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION side 4 has a very small mark in the top right-hand side , which looks like a sticker has been removed or something similar , it's not a major fault and otherwise the label is in very clean and bright condition ( see-pics) Hence VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION PICTURE / PRINTS & DIVIDER These are the original earliest issued prints with glossy darker colour, all are in pristine condition with no creases , tears or pin holes , look like it was the first time they have surfaced from inside the cover ! stunning NEAR MINT CONDITION Also complete with the original plain white sheet divider issued to separate the prints ! which again is in very clean condition with nothing more than a small crease across one of the corners , very clean shape EXCELLENT CONDITION LYRICS / POSTER Again this is the original 1st issued poster with the correct text in the lower corner , lovely condition with no writing, tape marks, pin holes or tears ! impossible to find like this , nothing more than the unavoidable folds that it was issued like ! lovely clean example of this original , top condition ( see-pics)ALL IN ALL THIS IS A LOVELY COMPLETE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING WITH THE SUPER RARE -2 TRANSITIONAL MATRIX NUMBER ON SIDE 3 ! A MUST FOR THE BEATLES FAN .

DISCS ARE ALWAYS REMOVED FROM THEIR COVERS AND HOUSED IN PROTECTIVE PLASTIC SLEEVES.THEY ARE THEN PLACED BETWEEN RIGID CARD STIFFERNERS AND THEN CAREFULLY PACKED IN STRONG PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM MADE BOXES. THUS GIVING MAXIMUM PROTECTION, SO YOU RECIEVE THE ITEM IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEFT US.
