Description

The Beatles: "White Album" (Apple PCS 7067-8, England, Stereo, [1978]) 

The 1978 reissue: stereo recording on white vinyl, gatefold sleeve, raised lettering to front cover, 4 photos and poster w/ lyrics verso. An Ex/Ex copy. Labels are very clean and undamaged. Admittedly difficult to spot flaws in white vinyl, but looks pretty darn clean w/ a couple thin and non-sounding lines of discoloration. Sampled extensively: very clean play with light surface static in spots, two very tolerable pops in "Blackbird" and a few light ticks at the outset of "Honey Pie". The sleeve is bright and solid with a very legible label, a faint touch of shadow and some light stains to the rear. The inserts are immaculate. Proper deadwax for this reissue: YEX709-712.
