Beatles Two 45 RPM Picture Sleeves & Records from the Let It Be Motion Picture

I’m putting up for auction MANY HIGH QUALITY BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVES & MATCHING 45 RPM RECORDS from my OWN VINYL COLLECTION. In this auction are 2 Beatles Picture Sleeves and 2 Beatles Apple 45 RPM records. These 2 records (containing 4 songs) were the ONLY SINGLES from the Beatles’ “LET IT BE” LP and Film to be released in the 45 RPM 7-inch single format.

Here are the details on the picture sleeves and records:

Single #1:

·       THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD b/w FOR YOU BLUE by The Beatles

·       This is Apple Records 2832.

·       This record was released May 11, 1970.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-). What is nice about the sleeve is that it does not show any ring wear on the Beatles images on either side. This PRIMARILY WHITE SLEEVE is tough to find without wear/smearing on the images. The wear/smearing on this sleeve was often caused during shipping when 25 sleeves and disks were packed in Apple 45RPM shipping boxes distributed to record stores and rubbed together during transit. There is some slight disc impression (NOT ring wear) and some light folds (NOT ceases). There are certainly NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, and NO SMEARING/SMUDGING/WEAR on the images at all. This is a straight-cut (East Coast) Sleeve.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT. Mfd. by Apple is in the perimeter printing.

·       The record has “Mfd. by Apple” in the rim print of the sliced apple label and the song titles in the upper left part of the label which indicates that this is a FIRST PRESSING DISK issued May 11, 1970.

Single #2:

·       LET IT BE b/w YOU KNOW MY NAME (LOOK UP THE NUMBER) by The Beatles

·       This is Apple Records 2764. 

·       This record was released March 11, 1970.

·       The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is VG+. There is some slight disc impression and some slight folds (NOT creases). There is one TINY tear on the top at the opening, and this is the ONLY thing that kept me from grading the sleeve Near Mint Minus (NM-). The images on the sleeve are nice and clean and without wear. There are NO SEAM SPLITS and NO RING WEAR. This is a straight-cut (East Coast) Sleeve.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT. This pressing has Apple labels with “Mfd. by Capitol Records” with the CAPITOL LOGO in the rim print of the sliced apple label. This indicates that this is a FIRST PRESSING DISC issued March 11, 1970. The A-side title positioned at 9 o’clock indicates that this record came from Capitol’s Scranton pressing plant.

·       IT’S A NICE PAIR OF BEATLES’PICTURE SLEEVES AND RECORDS TO ADD TO YOUR BEATLES’ VINYL COLLECTION, or a nice set that can be framed together to make a nice display!!
