Description
Beatles - The Complete Single Works
The Beatles 45s 1962-70 Limited Edition (Netherlands)
"The Green Box" was issued in The Netherlands in 1976. It is one of the earliest reissues by EMI after their contract with the Beatles expired in 1976, The Singles Collection 1962-1970 collected the 24 singles released by the band during their recording career. The discs were issued in newly-designed sleeves featuring green fronts and different photos for each on the back. This is the second edition issued in a newly-designed box and included Yesterday / I Should Have Known Better (R 6013) as an extra in total 24 singles. This box and the singles in it were issued in The Netherlands in 1976 as a "Limited Edition". The lid of the box is lacking, the singles and sleeves are in excellent condition. I bought it new in 1976 and the green box is taped with transparent tape.
