Description
Very rare first pressing of The Beatles "Something New" UK Export album (Stereo) CPCS 101. The matrix number's are YEEX 7-B12/YEEX 8-B12. The KT tax code is on side 2.
The Stamper numbers:
Side 1 - "1" @ 9 o'clock and "A" @ 3 o'clock
Side 2 - "1" @ 9 o'clock and "O" @ 3 o'clock.
The album, cover and inner sleeve are in excellent condition. There are some surface scuffs and light scratches but the album sounds excellent. Flipback cover by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. has a few small creases. There is no writing on the cover, sleeve or album. I can email other pictures if needed. Please email questions. Sale is final.

Origin from: Richard Foster on the Phonogram web discussion group,
published by Michael Fremer in 'Analog Corner' in Stereophile magazine:
"EMI used a code based upon "G R A M O P H L T D" (Gramophone, Ltd.) with "G" being 1, "R" being 2, through "D" which is 0. These letters representing stamper numbers can be found at "3 O clock" in the lead out groove area. So if your copy of Revolver has a "G" only, it is the very first stamper made from a given "mother." The "mother" number can be found at the "9 O clock" position
I just found out that this may be a second pressing. The label has "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." and not "Parlophone Co. Ltd."
From the information I found on the internet, this is a second pressing. I'm sorry for the mistake. This album is also very rare and collectable original 1965 UK export. The 1969 reissue of this album has a silver/black label.
