Beatles Singles Collection, U.K. Version.
This was released on December 6, 1982. A gorgeous boxed set. Near mint condition on the box itself. A7½" x 7½" x 3¼" dark blue faux-leather double-hinged top-loading box, containing 26 vintage 7" singles in picture sleeves and the "Love Me Do bw P.S. I Love You" Picture Disc in clear plastic.
"Love Me Do bw P.S. I Love You" & "Please Please Me bw Ask Me Why" are on the RED Parlaphone label. In January 1963 Parlophone ceased production of its red label design, which means to keep its authenticity these two singles have the RED label.
"From Me To You bw Thank You Girl" through "Lady Madonna bw The Inner Light" are on the BLACK Parlaphone label. "Hey Jude bw Revoluion" through "Let It Be bw You Know My Name" are on the APPLE Label. "Yesterday bw I Should Have Known Better" through "Movie Medley bw I'm Happy Just To Dance With You" are on the BLACK Parlaphone label.
Also included is the original 7"x13" blue paper insert which is usually missing. This insert contains individual track and release information for each 45. Unfortunately, I made some marks on this insert, I didn't know at the time that I would sell this, (see photo).
This box only has slight wear from being stored. The discs have never been out of their sleeves and only out of the box for this photo.
This box has been stored since I purchased it.
