1969 UK ONE EMI BOX **MONO** LP
Available for a short period from late 1969 -'71 this was the final mono pressing of the '60's.It sold poorly making it one of the rarest but best sounding of all the 'Sgt Pepper' UK pressings
This very rare 1969 MONO copy is on the black & silver 'One Box' EMI/Parlophone label PMC 7027
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry the 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rim text
The 'KT' tax/price code is NOT visible on any label.
Housed in a fully laminated, internal flipback, gatefold 'Garrod & Lofthouse' sleeve
Complete with white inner-sleeve and cut-out sheet (both MINT MINUS)
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1
Stamper numbers: 2/MPG & 9/MOL

Hard to find a better looking or sounding copy!
Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS Clean and strong with a rich and vibrant front panel displaying just some light handling and storage wear.
The spine laminate is slightly worn but remains unsplit and readable.
The inner gatefold is superb and without fault or wear (the white mark on the top image is a light reflection)
Please note that this sleeve has only the mono catalogue number listed on the rear top right-hand corner
