Offered here is the very desirable and long out of print title from Genesis
'Songs By George Harrison Volume One'.
The first of two volumes, it was published in 1987, and was George's third book
published by Genesis after 'I Me Mind' and 'Fifty Years Adrift'.
Long out of print and beautifully illustrated by Keith West it contains such
classics as 'My Sweet Lord', 'Something', and 'All Things Must Pass', plus
many songs recorded by the Beatles including, 'Here Comes The Sun', 'Taxman',
'Piggies', and 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'.
This volume includes a standard 7" vinyl recording in mint condition, with custom cover
and inner sleeve, of four previously unreleased tracks from George Harrison:
'Sat Singing' (Recorded March 1980)
'Lay His Head' (Recorded April 1980)
'For You Blue' (Recorded live in Washington DC, December 1974)
'Flying Hour' (Recorded March 1978)
The record is contained in a pull out drawer built into the box which housed the book.
The book is one of the artists personal copies, it is in mint condition in the original wrapping,
and is offered with a hand-written signed letter by the artist attesting to its authenticity.
This letter can be personalised if the winner so desires.
It is numbered a low 55 out of the edition of 2500 and is bound in
black, three-quarter leather with buckram box.
Not only is this a superior quality leather/cloth bound book in a quality case,
but George Harrison really took his time to script a beautiful example of his autograph.
It is very difficult to find authentic signatures these days. This one is the real thing.
