Beatles - RUBBER SOUL

MONO pressing of their 1965 album, UK pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1265

Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rim texts.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

Matrix numbers: XEX 579-4 & XEX 580-4

Housed in a heavy card, front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.

A small handful of tiny faint spindle trails

Visual: Excellent

Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which inly shows some very light hairline / removal marks.

Sound Quality: Excellent

This wonderful sounding disc. The sound is refined and detailed, free from the over-compressed sound of the previous cuttings. More importantly, it is free from any groove/play wear, just a hint of light/normal vinyl background noise, but no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions

Cover: EXCELLENT

A fine strong & clean example which retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate, showing only the slightest storage waer. There is a hint of shelfwear rubbing to the lower corners but no bumps or bruising to any. Both opening edges are in great shape The rear panel is STUNNING, bright and unworn

SPINE is NEAR MINT

. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and both seams and the spine are all smooth, unstressed and unworn.
