Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unworn set with just two or three spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & bright but do bear a small handful of light, non-feelable surface marks in strong daylight but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy paper scuffs consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but again nothing major. Both sides of this high-quality pressed disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has received minimal careful play on excellent equipment and my single careful play-check at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. In fact, apart from a handful of soft ticks at the beginning of 'What Goes On' and touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there really is little to fault and much more to enjoy.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A clean & strong example with moderate handling wear but no major faults. The front panel is clean & glossy bearing several 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front edge and some small wrinkles around the other edges. There is also some minor wear to the opening edges but no heavy bumps or bruising to any corner.
The exposed rear panel is clean & white and free from any marks, writing or missing paper. There is some dried adhesive from manufacture along the lower flipback and some age toning to the edges but all are intact and undamaged.
Both seams & the spine are smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Crisp & undamaged with moderate age-toning and light storage creasing but no writing, seam splits or tears.
