THE BEATLES: 'RUBBER SOUL' – MEGA SCARCE UK 1st PRESSING **LOUD CUT** MONO LP - PMC 1267 - IN SCARCE ERNEST J. DAY SLEEVE
In GORGEOUS condition, released in the UK in 1965, this is the Rare **LOUD CUT** Variant with the Side 1 matrix of **XEX 579-1**, and the Side 2 Matrix of XEX 580-1. The side 1 stampers are '4', 'LO', and the side 2 stampers: '2', 'GDH'.
This Rare Variant is on the Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' label rim and with 'Sold in UK' label text. The embossed 'KT' tax code is clearly visible on the centre of the side 1 record label. The Vinyl Disc comes in its original Lined Emitex Inner Bag and is housed in a RARE Laminated Ernest J Day Flip Back Sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in SUPERB excellent plus condition, clean, bright and unfaded labels, showing only some light spider marks. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in FABULOUS excellent plus condition - BRIGHT and very clean vinyl, showing only a couple of very light hairlines, but certainly no major scratches or scuffs! The album plays SUPERBLY without any skips, jumps or distortion. The IMPRESSIVE EJ Day Laminated sleeve, with the wide flip backs, is in DAZZLING mint minus condition - The sleeve is Fresh and clean, VIBRANT colours, CRISP Spine, edges, corners. The Reverse of the Sleeve is extremely clean and sharp and all three wide flipbacks show no signs of wear.
One of the nicest examples of this of this RARE album that we have seen in a long time, and a real bonus to find with an Ernest J Day sleeve..
