This is OFFICIALLY Apple Records 2969. That is the catalog number printed on the labels of the record.

HOWEVER, EAST COAST PICTURE SLEEVES WERE ISSUED WITH THE WRONG CATALOG NUMBER 1826 (which is printed at the bottom of both sides of the picture sleeve as you can see in the images.)

This record was released October 5, 1970.

The PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION. There is some VERY LIGHT partial ring wear that does not overwhelm the images. There is just a touch of very light wear on the bottom corners. There is a very small crease on one of the top corners. The “flap” (the extension of the slick) at the top opening has some very light folds and creases, minor signs of handling. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO STAPLE/PIN HOLES and NO WRITING on this picture sleeve.

The VINYL is in NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) to NEAR MINT (NM) CONDITION with just a few very light/slight surface hairlines/scuffs and LOTS OF GLOSS. It was pressed at Capitol’s Winchester plant.

This has become a tough Apple picture sleeve to find these days!
It’s a NICE COPY OF THIS RARE APPLE RECORDS ERROR PICTURE SLEEVE for someone’s Beatles vinyl collection!
Thanks to the Price Guide for the Beatles American Records, 6th Edition by Perry Cox and Frank Daniels for some information about this picture sleeve and record.
