Here is a rare first day of issue copy on the yellow and black Parlophone label PMC 7009
This pressing features the rare remix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' available only on this initial pressing
Both labels show the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The 'KT' tax/price code is emobssed onto the side one label
Housed the rarer 'E.J. Day' front laminated, flipback sleeve.
Complete with the correct, original 'Patents applied for' inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: XEX-605-1 & XEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 5/GR & 2/GL

CONDITION


Sleeve: EXCELLENT

A very strong and clean example displaying only minor signs of wear.
The front is bright white and unyellowed with a clean unscratched laminate.
The rear panel is deep black with virtually no visible wear.
All seams are strong and unsplit and the flipbacks are intact and undamaged.

Disc

Visual: VERY GOOD The surfaces are clean but do display some moderate wear.
These are some noticeable surface marks and the occaisional small scratch.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Great mono sound but played many times and some light wear is audible.
There is a one groove jump on 'Taxman' but all other tracks play without fault.
