On the final incarnation of the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7009
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK..' text.
'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims are present on both.
A 'KJT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 3/TH & 2/HA

A near perfect set with just two or three extremely small & faint spindle trails to each centre-hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces of this remarkable 'as new' copy are unmarked and in MINT condition when viewed in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals just literally one or two faint marks from inner-sleeve removal but no scratches or any other signs of wear whatsoever. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has clearly received just a few very careful plays on top-quality equipment and sounds 'as new' throughout with no traces of any audible wear on or between any track.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A pristine white front panel with a perfect, unscratched front laminate which displays just a single, tiny 'thumbnail' crease towards the opening edge. There is a small water stain to the lower left corner and a small bump to the both opening edges appear untouched and are unworn. The rear panel is clean & black with just a hint of storagewear rubbing over John's shoulder but no other marks or any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are present, clean & intact. There is a 5cm repair to the upper seam but the lower one and the spine are undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just minor storagewear creasing but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
