Description
THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
1968 UK *MONO* REEL-TO-REEL TAPE RECORD
This outstanding & original UK reel-to-reel tape is the scarcer 1968 issue and contains the true MONO mix of the LP.
The tape itself is recorded on twin-track mono at 3 & 3/4 ips on a 5" EMITAPE spool and bears the catalogue number: TA-PMC 7009
Both white & red printed leaders are present and are fully intact.
The spool is housed in its original clear plastic jewel case, complete with printed inner-card enclosed.
CONDITION
Spool: EXCELLENT +
Clean, clear & uncracked with the 'EMITAPE' label fully intact & undamaged on both sides.
Tape: EXCELLENT +
The tape is fully intact any without any crinkling, stretches, edits or any other damage throughout. I have played the entire tape on both sides on my Revox A77 tape machine and the sound throughout is clean & clear in both channels with no drop-outs or any other audible faults.
Inner-card
EXCELLENT +
This is clean & pristine white with no yellowing or any other age-related blemishes. There are some tiny indentations to the front right edge where caused by the clasp on the case, but apart from this minor blemish the card is 'as new'.
Case
EXCELLENT
Fully intact with some light storagewear scratching and two small cracks on the rear aside the centre spindle holder, but no missing pieces anywhere.
