THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This fine sounding, barely played UK MONO 2nd pressing dates from late 1966 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK....' text with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.
The side 2 label carries the 'Dr. Robert' spelling for track 4, later changed to 'Doctor'.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3
Stamper codes: 6/LO & 1/AR
Vinyl weight: 137g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright & clean pair with a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole & a few small age-spots on the side 2 label.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean & unworn playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine, with no noticeable surface marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
It's a difficult task to find an acceptable sounding copy of this LP, but I guarantee that this copy is one of the better ones you will come across and would be a challenge to upgrade for sound quality. This disc has received just some careful play on good quality equipment and my own careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or either channel. Even the easily & most frequently worn 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There & Everywhere' play clearly without any background crackle or interference. The entire album is free from any clicks, pops or any other noticeable audible distractions and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong & unworn example which retains a clean, slightly off-white front panel bearing just two small 'thumbnails' to its unworn high-gloss laminate. All corners and both opening edges are free from any bumps, tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are full intact and both seams are unstressed and unsplit.
The spine is clean, fully worded & unworn.

Clean & flat no writing, tears or seam splits.
