Catalog: Parlophone 0602537825769 reissue 2014 mono remaster in an all analog mastering chain. This issue of the Beatles catalog in mono are touted to better the originals. Pressed in Germany by Optimal Media on 180 gram weight vinyl. This album was cut from the original master tapes using a completely analogue signal path and with constant reference to the notes made by the cutting engineer for the first pressing of the LP. It has been made with current technology and without imposing the restrictions necessitated by the limitations of record players in the 1960s. Consequently, this version reveals more of the content of the audio on the master tapes.
Jacket: Near mint as new, very fresh with no detractions.
LP: Visual VG++, but I played half of each side and the surfaces are dead quiet. No spindle marks!
