THE BEATLES - 'RARITIES'
1980 CANADIAN *MINT/UNPLAYED* 1st PRESSING LP
This LP is one of a number I have listed this week which originated from the collection of a record company employee. Like this copy, all were received at/near the time of release and carefully stored away in ideal conditions and never played.
This original MINT/UNPLAYED 1980 1st Canadian pressing on the rainbow Capitol label: SHAL 12060
The disc is housed within an unlaminated, thick card stock Canadian printed gatefold cover with raised front central image.
Complete with its original picture inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: SHAL-1-12060-1 & SHAL-1-12060-G
'MASTERED BY CAPITOL' is stamped in each run-out.

An immaculate set with no spindle marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are immaculate and retain their original deep gloss rainbow shines. The only visible marks are a few faint wispy made when the disc was inserted into the inner-sleeve. Otherwise, this is MINT.

A wonderful example of this highly attractive cover which apart form tiny bruises to the right corners is 'as new'.

Clean and flat with just a single light crease to the upper left corner but no stresses or splits to any seam.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
