Description
- The Beatles - "RUBBER SOUL" Capitol Records-- ST/SW-2442,
Originally issued in 1965, this is the 1976 era reissue on the Orange label. This is a Jacksonville pressing with the smaller style print. This variation has a "SW" catalog ID sticker on the shrink. Midway through this run Capitol changed the catalog prefix from "ST" to "SW" to designate a price change. The cover and labels are still marked "ST". It comes in a "12" marked cover which does not seem like the correct cover. A Jacksonville pressing should have a "17" cover. However, when I received this, it was mostly sealed and I opened it the rest of the way since the shrink was tattered. I have no idea why a Jacksonville record would be in a "12" cover, but here you go!
Cover is VG+ or better Cover in shrink but has bumped corners, tears in shrink and some "scratches" in the artwork above Pauls' head on the cover.
Vinyl is EX Near Mint Labels.
