AN ORIGINAL 1965 UK Parlophone MONO Vinyl LP for The Beatles sixth UK Album release ‘RUBBER SOUL’.
The heavy weight 12” VINYL LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, Made in Gt Britain, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, a bright, clean set of record labels with just a few light centre spindle lines on both labels, otherwise a perfect set of record labels.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 579-4 and Side 2: XEX 580-4.
Side 1 stampers: 11/ROO and Side 2: 7/HGR.
The embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible to centre of the side 2 record label.
Side one of the vinyl disc is in Excellent condition, a clean glossy vinyl surface with a couple of faint surface hairlines, and a visible surface mark that goes across five tracks, this surface mark is very light and does not effect the play quality.(the surface mark can be seen on the scan of the disc below)
Side two of the vinyl disc is in Excellent Plus condition, a clean glossy vinyl surface with just a couple of faint surface hairlines.
The album plays beautifully from beginning to end, very quiet between tracks, a very powerful Mono sound quality, no skips or background noise.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex…’ Printed Inner Bag which is an Excellent example, with No seam splits just light age toning.
And is housed in its original PATENTS PENDING first Issue Front LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse, three flip back, mono Sleeve.
The front of the Original Garrod and Lofthouse Laminated Sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition. What is noticeable about the front panel of the sleeve is that the laminate is VERY GLOSSY and the colours RICH, DEEP and VIVID, all edges and corners are undamaged, the reverse panel of the sleeve is fairly clean, showing light age toning, and the original price of 32-6 hand written in ink just above the catalogue number, all three flipbacks are undamaged, the spine wording is clear and legible.
