THE BEATLES: ‘REVOLVER’ THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1966 **ORIGINAL** UK **VERY 1st PRESSING** MONO VINYL LP - PMC 7009 – FEATURING THE ALTERNATE MIX OF ‘TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS’ - WITH THE SIDE 2 MATRIX OF **XEX 606-1**
A Description of this album package is as follows:
Featured here is the VERY RARE 1966 ORIGINAL UK**Very 1st Pressing** MONO LP for The Beatles 'Revolver ' LP which features the alternate and quickly withdrawn version of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ with the side 2 matrix of **XEX 606-1**.
This Original Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim and with ‘Sold in UK….’ Label text. The album comes in its original Plain White 'Made in Gt Britain' Inner bag and is housed in its correct Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated Three Flip Back Sleeve
The Matrixes and stamper information:
The Side 1 Matrix is XEX 605-2, and side 2 Matrix XEX 606-1. The side 1 stampers are: '5', 'MD', and the side 2 stampers are: ‘2’, 'AG'.
The Grading of the Record Labels, Vinyl Disc and Sleeve:
Both sides of the record labels are in clean and respectable excellent condition – the labels are bright, free from any handwriting or tearing, showing just some spider marks. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in very good condition – the vinyl is decent, showing some light surface scratches, but no major scuffs. The Laminated Flip back sleeve is in very good plus condition – the sleeve is respectable, with no handwriting or tearing. The spine and edges are in decent shape, all three flip backs are undamaged. The front of the sleeve shows just light record storage wear, but this is minimal, and the back panel shows some light rubbing, but nothing major and no handwriting or tearing. The White inner bag is also in clean and respectable condition, with no tearing or handwriting.
An Assessment of The Playing Quality
The album plays satisfactorily – there NO Skips, or jumps or major deterioration - A few clicks can be heard on ‘Here, There & Everywhere’, ‘Yellow Submarine’, ‘Good Day Sunshine’ and ‘For No-one’. The all important ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ tracks plays very well.
Overall a RESPECTABLE example of this **SELDOM** seen in stock and HARD TO FIND Beatles Original UK Very 1st Pressing
