Description
Very rare US Capitol 45 pressing of Paperback Writer/Rain on the yellow/orange swirl label with the “Subsidiary...” rim print in BLACK. As you probably know, the “Subsidiary” labels are much rarer than the original yellow/orange swirl label first pressings - and the black perimeter print labels are the rarest of all, having only been in production for two months (August through October of 1968).
A very nice piece of vinyl, it still has its luster. There are a few light scuffs and small, light hairline surface scratches but nothing major. Conservatively, it’s a solid VG+ overall (visual grading). The labels are both in beautfiful NM condition.
Includes a nice generic Capitol sleeve that was in use at the time. The disc will be shipped in a protective Japanese-style inner rice paper sleeve, as it has been since the day I purchased it.
