Description

THE BEATLES Please Please Me

UK very 1st yellow & black label mono pressing with extra small 33 1/3 left over from the gold labels. Only very few were issued with the extra 33 1/3 printed on the label before the revised print was issued. This is without a doubt far hard to find than the black & gold label issue.

With "Parlophone Co Ltd..." text around the outside of the label. Without "Recording First Published...." & "Sold In The UK" text.

Front laminated flipback sleeve. "Use Emitex..." polylined inner sleeve.

Very early pressing matrix 1N/1N

Mother/stampers  2/GH 1/M very early

Housed in Ernest J. Day sleeve with Angus McBean credt to far left.

Sleeve is VG+ some light creasing from top and bottom seam ,very light scuffng to spine.

Rea panelvery clean a couple of small brwn spots nice flipbacks with a little creasing and some scuffing to edges.

Labels have a textured finish clean Ex,light wear round spidle holes see pics.

Vinyl VG a few light marks not deep or feelable side two nearer VG+.

Plays really well light background noise on run ins and between tracks really clean and punchy.
