1963 UK *STEREO* 4th PRESSING LP
**EXCELLENT COPY**
This rare 1963 4th stereo pressing is the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
The labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'E.J. Day' large stereo logo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper numbers: 1/GA & 1/H

Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely bright & clean surfaces retaining their deep gloss shine with just an occaisional light sleeve removal mark, but no significant scuffs or scratches.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some wispy paper hairlines but no additional marks.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Superb sound quality - clear & clean on both channels with no trace of crackle, groovewear distortion or other signs of frequent or overplay.
Carefully listened to at volume on headphones there is very little to fault, just a few seconds of hiss during 'Love Me Do' prevent a NM grade.
Both run-ins & all bands are extremely quiet and play without intereference & there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS
Very strong, clean & bright front panel retaining an undamaged laminate which displays just a few light creases but no major damage.
There is some light rubbing & shelfwear to the lower corners but the opening edges are sharp & clean with just a touch of light wear only.
The rear panel is a clean with just a few minor marks through storage, but no discolouration, writing or missing paper.
All the delicate flipbacks are present & intact and both seams and the spine are strong, clean & undamaged.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp & audibly at volume on high-end audio equipment
