1964 UK LATE 4th **STEREO** PRESSING LP
**RARE LABEL DESIGN**
This rare late STEREO 4th pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text, 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims and 'Recording First Published...' texts.
The label have an unusual 'justified' layout quite different to earlier 4th pressings.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in small 'stereo' logo Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated, 'tri-flipback' cover.
Complete with its original lined 'Use Emitex inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 94-1
Stamper numbers: 1/RL & 1/RA
Labels: EXCELLENT
Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS
Clean surfaces which when inspected under a halogen desk lamp show many light sleeve removal hairlines but no deep scratches or heavy scuffs.
Certainly 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Carefully played on good quality equipment all its life, all the tracks play loud and clearly without any hint or crackle or groovewear distortion.
Its only fault is a few soft 'ticks' between tracks 1 & 2 on side 1. However there are no jumps repeats or any other audible faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT
This hard to find 'thick' card, 'small' stereo cover bears just some light handling and storagewear only.
The front panel retains its unscratched laminate bearing just a few light creases.
The corners and opening edges show slight storage and handling wear but no major faults.
The rear panel is clean with some minor discolouration and but no marks or writing.
All 'flipbacks' and seams are intact and undamaged and spine is clear and readable with no missing laminate or paper.
