THE BEATLES / PLEASE PLEASE ME / ASK ME WHY
this early uk 1st pressing of their second single from january 1963 release. the disc has the "jr" stamper code (see pic) used on demo copies, on the red & silver parlophone label 45-R 4983 and has MADE IN GT BRITAIN text on both sides and MPT in both run offs, housed in the earliest variation of the green & white PARLOPHONE sleeve which had the "controlled by "electrical & musical instruments ltd" text which was quickly changed to "electrical & musical industries ltd". the vinyl is in a very nice shiny condition considering its 45 years in circulation and would proudly adorn any BEATLES collection, cover is in very good solid condition with creases as should be expected
