Beatles Please Please Me Stereo 4th press No sold in uk LP - no recording first published on labels. EJ Day slv RARE PCS 3042.
This is the rare 4th pressing of this album. It’s very rare in Stereo - the labels omit ‘recoding first published 1963’ - this was an error immediately after the gold label pressing. Labels also omit ‘sold in the U.K. subject to price resale conditions.
This record was bought in 1963 at NEMS record store in liverpool and comes with its original NEMS free plastic sleeve. These were given away with all LP’s in the early to mid 60’s to protect the record. Very few have survived because of their fragile nature. This one has some tears and a few creases but still displays well.
The cover is an original EJ Day - flipbacks are good apart from a little corner damage bottom right.
No writing, stickers or other tears. It’s good example of this cover very good condition.
The labels are both excellent with no writing, stickers or damage. The record has not been over played.
The vinyl has a few light marks but still plays superbly. The vinyl surface looks deep black without deep scratches, just some light marks. A great example.
Stampers are YEX 94-1 1 P and YEX 95-1 1 G
A very early press.
