Description

Extremley rare original 1963 Parlophone album Titled "Please Please Me" by The Beatles.Purchased from WG Stores Shepherds Bush Market. It has the original BLACK/GOLD MONO PARLOPHONE TEXT but without "sold in the U.K." Dick James Music Co/McCartney-Lennon credits appear on label.Ref. numbers side 1 XEX421-1N, stamper code GO, tax code MT(middle of label), side 2 XEX422-1N, stamper code 11, no tax code on side 2.Original sleeve with "photo:Angus McBean" credit in bottom right hand corner 5mm from opening edge(later issues it was 17mm from opening edge). Sleeve is in good condition apart from slight wear along opening edge.The album has been played but is in VERY GOOD CONDITION and still retains it's high lustre.
