THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This NEAR MINT STEREO pressing of their debut album dates from c.1968 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK....' text & 'The Gramophone Co...' rims, but no purchase tax code around either centre hole.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper codes: 1/AR & 1/AR
Vinyl weight: 154g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A pristine pair with just one, possibly two faint spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate 'factory-fresh' playing surfaces which are totally unmarked both in strong daylight, with just one or two of the faintest paper hairlines visible only upon close examination directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
Played just once or twice on top-quality equipment, the sound quality throughout this beautiful copy is flawless throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st-class example which retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate with just a small bend towards the lower right corner but no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or any other signs of wear. there is a little discolouration to the upper two corners but no damage or wear to the opening edges. The rear panel bear some age-toning toward the opening & upper edges but is otherwise unmarked. The original retailer's sticker (from a shop in Basel, Switzerland) is still present in the upper right corner.
All flipbacks are clean & intact and both seams & the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no writing, seams splits or tears.
