Beatles Please Please Me / Ask Me Why Vee Jay USA Promo VJ 498 RARE 1st Misspelt THE BEATTLES


This is a mega rare 45 - the first USA Beatles 45 released and it's legendary because of the rarity but also because their name was misspelled. It's hard to imagine this could have happened but there was a time no one in America knew or cared about a band from Liverpool, England.


This record is not perfect but it plays well, without skips. It's graded very good condition, the labels have some marks and writing on ask me why side. There is a flaked and grazed on the edge of one side of the vinyl but this is no where near the intro to the track. I've photographed this from both sides and you can see it's minuscule on the other side.
