Description

The Beatles 'Please Please Me/Ask Me Why' single on the Parlophone ***RED LABEL***, with DICK JAMES MUSIC LTD  credit in ***NEAR MINT*** condition!!

45 - R 4983

SLEEVE

This is the Parlophone 'Multi - coloured horizontal stripe' sleeve.  There is a bit of age discolouration and light creasing, and a couple of very slight tears at each top side.  There is NO handwriting.  The sleeve is graded as VERY GOOD.

LABELS

These are the ***RED PARLOPHONE*** labels with the DICK JAMES MUSIC LTD and the McCartney/Lennon credit.  There is NO spindle wear and virtually NO centre hole scuffing.   Both labels are graded as ***NEAR MINT***.

VINYL

Matrix Numbers and Stamper Codes

Side A

Matrix 7XCE 17217 - 3 Stamper '4' at 7 o'clock and '4' at 10 o'clock.

Side B

Matrix 7XCE 17218 - 3 Stampers 'CI' at 12 o'clock and '1' at 6 o'clock.

There is just a bit of paper scuffing visible on each side, when viewed under strong sunlight.  Without hesitation, I can grade both sides as ***NEAR MINT***.

AUDIO

The sound quality on both sides is ***TRULY STUNNING***!!

I am privileged in having very sensitive Hi-fi equipment, which shows any slight flaw(s), so I feel that I am able to grade my records very accurately.

This ***RARE*** record, in this TERRIFIC condition is being offered at a VERY LOW starting price, with NO RESERVE!!
