THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This rare 1964 pressing of their debut LP was manufactured in Germany for sale to troops/personnel based at army bases there
It is on the red, white gold-rimmed Odeon label: ZTOX 5550
Matrix numbers: SHZE 117 A-1 & SHZE 117 B-1
Vinyl weight: 171g
Housed in a glossy, German-printed cover with paste-on rear panel.

Both are clean & undamaged with no writing or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy without any noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight. However, due to the poor quality of the vinyl used in this pressing, there are numerous small bumps within the vinyl itself. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some wispy paper-type hairlines but no significant or major signs of wear.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD
This copy has received a moderate amount of play and is without any grove/playwear distortion throughout. The sound quality is vinyl is compromised by the defects in the vinyl itself but there are no jumps, repeats or any other significant or major audible faults throughout.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
A glossy & firm example which retains a clean, high-gloss front panel free from any creasing or 'thumbnails'. There is a small bend in the upper left corner but all others are in good shape and both opening edges are sharp & unworn. The rear panel is clean overall with slight storage rubbing and a crudely erased name towards the upper left corner. No original inner-sleeve is present.
The spine is slightly discoloured but all the text is present and both seams are smooth & unstressed.
