The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. Paul McCartney-"Venus & Mars" LP, a UK import, Parlophone PCTC 254, pressed in 1975. This is an extremely rare test pressing. These were pressed in very limited quantities to test the quality of the recording and were never released to the general public. Matrix numbers (stamped) are: side one:(stamped) YEX-945-1U, etched: "A Porky's Prime Cut"; side 2: (stamped) YEX-946-1U, (etched): "M Room". Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ to NM- condition, with a couple of very small marks. This will come in a plain white cover. Very scarce piece of Paul vinyl; any Beatles or Beatles related test pressing are beyond rare.
