This immaculate UK 1st pressing of their ground-breaking 45 dates from initial June 1966 release on the Parlophone label: R 5452


Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18380-2 & 7XCE 18381-2

Stamper codes: 6/RH & 1/H


Housed in its original green & white, wavy-top Parlophone company sleeve.

This copy was originally purchased at the 'Wilson Peck Ltd.' shop in Sheffield, UK and is accompanied by its original shop paper bag.

  Clean & unworn with a couple of faint spindle trails around the 'Rain' centre hole only.

Visual: MINT

Pristine 'factory-fresh' playing surfaces with no blemishes or wear, even directly beneath halogen light. Both sides lie 100% flat when playing.

Sound Quality: MINT

So hard to find a nice sounding copy of this 45 as most copies were worn out in one or two plays on average equipment. This example however is the exception to the rule; both tracks play flawlessly with all the power and clarity intended and no trace of any crackle or groovewear distortion. You won't be disappointed.
