THE BEATLES: 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' - RARE 1963 ORIGINAL UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE **STEREO** VINYL LP IN ITS ORIGINAL ERNEST J DAY FLIP BACK SLEEVE - PCS 3042

SUPERB NEAR MINT EXAMPLE OF THIS **SERIOUSLY RARE** EARLY BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE STEREO LP, EVEN LESS SEEN THAN THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE STEREO LP!!

This ULTRA RARE Early **STEREO** Vinyl LP for The Beatles DEBUT album 'Please Please Me' was BRIEFLY released by Parlophone UK in 1963. The album is on the CustomBlack and Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'Recording First Published 1963' label text, with 'Made in Gt Britain' printed on both sides of the record labels

The Vinyl LP comes in its original polylined Emitex Inner bag and is housed in its Original 1st Issue Laminated ERNEST J DAY Flip Back Sleeve, displaying the large 'stereo' typeface printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.

Dead Wax and Stamper Information:

Side 1 matrix: YEX 94-1/Side 2 Matrix is YEX 95-1. Side 1 stampers: '1' & 'GO'/Side 2 stampers: '1' & 'T'.

A Grading Assessment

Both record labels are in **near mint** condition - both sides of the record labels are BRIGHT, CLEAN and UNFADED, with NO handwriting to either side, and just a few light centre spindle lines. The side 2 record label shows less centre spindle lines than side 1. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in EXCEPTIONAL **near mint** condition. The Vinyl could not fail to impress any collector and looks virtually NEW. There are NO scuffs, NO Scratches, and NO groove wear evident.

The Ernest J Day Sleeve is a SUPERB **near mint** example and extremely difficult to find in this condition. The Laminate is BRIGHT and GLOSSY and the colours Vivid. The edges and corners of the sleeve are all FIRM and FLAT. There is NO Record Indentation evident. There is NO feathering to the FLAT Opening Edge where the record is inserted. All there is to mention is a mild and tiny bruise to the bottom right hand corner. The Spine too is in Great Shape and UNDAMAGED, with the wording 'Please Please Me - The Beatles' clearly legible. The reverse panel of the sleeve is Extremely BRIGHT, CLEAN and WHITE, with NO handwriting or tearing, and all three Flipbacks are in UNDAMAGED condition.

The Playing Quality:

The record plays SUPERBLY well throughout all of the tracks, a truly POWERFUL early Stereo sound. There are NO Jumps, NO Pops, NO Clicks or Distortion. The album sits 100% flat on the turntable, with NO dishing or warping.

HARDLY SEEN in stock and even less seen than the Black & Gold Parlophone version of the Beatles debut album. It would be extremely difficult to find this SERIOUSLY RARE Beatles album in any better condition, and is the FINEST Example to have come into stock for a long while.
