The Beatles
PLEASE PLEASE ME
EAS-70130
Extremely Rare MONO Red Vinyl

This extremely rare copy of The Beatles' PLEASE PLEASE ME mono red LP  is one of
a limited edition, 10,000 pressing run made in 1982 by EMI/Odeon - Japan.
Finding a nice copy of this is nearly impossible!

Why so rare?...
As most of you reading this already know, the monophonic, red vinyl Beatles titles released in this series were - and are - coveted by collectors.
These audiophile issues were carefully monitored pressing runs, and are considered the ultimate
way to hear the original Beatles mono mixes.
Using high definition virgin vinyl, the original U.K. mono mixes and extreme care in packaging, this Japanese pressed series of albums -
based on the Parlophone catalog in the U.K. - are the ultimate way to experience the Fab Four in mono.
In many cases, the mono mixes are quite different from their stereo counterparts.
Also the fact that most Beatles' diehards prefer these vinyls rather than the most recent 2009 Remastered CD.

In 1982, Toshiba issued a limited edition series (limited to 10,000 copies of each record) of mono LPs. These records contain the original U.K. mono mixes and parallel very closely the U.K. mono reissue series that came out in England around the same time.

THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME
If you had always wanted to play your copy of The Beatles' Japanese mono red vinyl of PLEASE PLEASE ME - EAS- 70130 but was so afraid to do, maybe because you did not want it to get scratched or maybe you did not want any marks on the labels or just maybe you wanted to keep it pristine for future investment, here is your chance to have one copy that you can set on your turntable. Offered for bid is one copy of The Beatles Japan mono red vinyl of PLEASE PLEASE ME (EAS-70130) - 1982 issue. Visually graded the vinyl is EX to NM and looks unplayed. The labels have no spindle marks at all. Jacket is graded VG which shows lots of aging. The front has rubs on the record impression and a small bend on the bottom left. There seems to be a price sticker residue on the right top below MONO that can be felt when touched. The back has black residue on the record impression. The spines are intact, however there are rubs on the surface. Overall it is still an acceptable jacket (check the photos), and it is the vinyl itself that is pristine so that it can be a replacement for your copy if you have a better jacket of this particular album. Included is the lyric sheet, in English and Japanese, which is brownish due to its age. There is no OBI (or this would have cost more with it).
Thanks for checking this auction. Please watch for my other Beatles mono reds posted here on ebay.

I will assure good packaging with the vinyl out of the jacket to prevent any damage to spines of jacket in case package is dropped by carrier.
International shipment will be by First Class International, with purchase price indicated.... Shipping to Canada is $6.00.
I have a good starting price as most sellers start their used copies anywhere from $89 and up.... Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!!
