PLEASE PLEASE ME PMC 1202
1963 1st UK GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL
DICK JAMES Mus CREDITS
MT TAX CODE
VERY EARLY MOTHERS 1T & 1L
This is a superb press of the highly sought after 1st press Please Please me, This album is rare enough but in this condition it is virtually non existent, the Labels which normally have heavy wear are simply EXCELLENT, still with the original shine and deep gold/black colour as when it was printed and the vinyl is the same, this thick heavy weight vinyl is VERY GOOD+++ with a high gloss shine with only a handful of light marks.
With extremely early mothers this album must have been hot of the press very early in 1963 and would have been amongst the first few thousand pressed making this a must for any beatles collector.
Condition -
LABELS ~ EXCELLENT (very very minor spindle wear)
VINYL ~ VERY GOOD++++ (roughly 5 marks on side 1 and the same on side 2,all of which are light and none of which can be felt and none effect play)
INNER EMITEX ~ EXCELLENT
SLEEVE ~ VERY GOOD (front and spine are excellent though the rear flipbacks have suffered)
