THE BEATLES - 'NOWHERE MAN'

UK 1966 *1st PRESS* EP

This, their final and rarest EP is a 1966 1st UK pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8952

Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.

Housed in a front laminated, pointed bi-flipback picture cover.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 904-1 & 7TCE 905-1

Stamper codes: 1/P & 1/T

CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

A superb, unworn set with just a single light spindle marks to the side 2 centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Bright & glossy playing surfaces which bear just a few harmless wispy paper-type hairlines in strong daylight but no scuffs or scratches. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a few more insignificant storage blemishes but nothing major. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT

This barely played copy sounds clean, warm and dry with no evidence of any groove/play wear - even on the delicate 'Michelle'. There is some light background on the run-ins and bands between tracks, but no clicks, pops or any other such audible fault elsewhere.
