Hello and welcome to my auction. Before giving you a description of this auction please read the following information carefully.

Payment:  To keep my auctions as simple as possible, I’ve decided to only accept payment via Paypal. Payment is due within three days of close of auction. (If you don’t have a Paypal account but would like to pay with a US Postal money order, contact me and maybe I can make an exception.)

Shipping:  I only ship to your Paypal confirmed US address, given to me with your payment.  I gladly ship to US Military APO addresses. Stated shipping rates are for the lower 48 states only.

Because I’ve lost so much money with Ebay’s very inaccurate shipping calculators, I no longer use them in my auctions. Instead, I will email you the shipping options and rates based on your zip code, once the auction ends. (Most of my auctions specify a flat rate shipping fee.)  I do my best to get your items in the mail within one or two days of the end of auction, unless it’s a weekend or holiday.

I do not make any profit on shipping and handling! I only charge actual shipping, plus the cost of any new boxes and packaging materials I may use. When possible, I try to ship in used boxes to save my customers money. I never charge any bogus "handling charges" and I always refund any overcharge in shipping fees via Paypal. (I frequently buy on Ebay and I hate to be ripped off by excessive shipping and handling charges too!)

Combined shipping: If you purchase more than one item from me, and I’m able to safely ship them together in one box, I will be happy to save you money and send you a partial refund on shipping charges.

Insurance:  Mandatory for all items costing $100 or more.  This is to protect both of us from loss.  Below this amount, insurance is optional. 

My Guarantee:  Unlike other sellers here on Ebay, I stand behind all my auctions and I offer all buyers a “No Hassle- Satisfaction Guarantee”.  If for any reason you are not happy when your item arrives, you may return it within 7 days of receipt for a cheerful refund, less all shipping charges. (New, sealed items must be returned in the same condition to receive a refund.)

Also, if you can show me that I have somehow misrepresented my auction, or that my auction description was in any way inaccurate or misleading, I will refund all your money, including all shipping charges!

I have over 1180 successful transactions on Ebay and my feedback rating stands at 100%. Rest assured that I am an honest and ethical seller.

Feedback:  Once I receive positive feedback indicating that our transaction was successful, I will be happy to leave positive feedback in return.  Please contact me with any problems you may have before leaving me neutral or negative feedback.  You’ll find that I’m a very friendly seller and easy to deal with.  I will bend over backwards to solve any problems regarding our auction.

Having said this, if you decide to leave me “negative feedback”, my “No Hassle- Satisfaction Guarantee” is null and void.  I will not refund your money, or accept any returns.  Your decision to leave me “negative feedback” ends our transaction, and I will not be open to any further discussion. This includes mediation using Ebay’s Square Trade program.   

One final note, I reserve the right to cancel any and all bids from Ebay members who have chosen to keep their feedback comments “private” and hidden. I also reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers with an overall positive feedback rating 98.9% or less. If you fall into these two categories please contact me BEFORE placing your bid. Up for bid is a truly rare copy of the Beatles My Bonnie 45rpm on the UK Polydor label (NH-66833), released in 1962. This was the very first record to have the Beatles name printed on it. Before this version, Polydor released this same single in Germany, but the artists listed on the label were Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers.

Condition: The vinyl and labels are in true near mint condition. The record is super clean and glossy and looks new and unplayed. A gorgeous copy! The stock Polydor paper sleeve is also in near mint condition, and has the words “Made in England” printed on the sleeve. Good luck in finding a cleaner copy of this scarce record.

As a cautionary note for potential buyers of this record, beware that many people on Ebay are selling the much more common 1963 reissue of this single, and passing it off as the rare 1962 version. The original UK version of My Bonnie didn’t sell in large quantities in 1962, as it was released before the Beatles became well known and famous. But in 1963, with Beatlemania just beginning in England, Polydor reissued this single and tried to cash in. The reissue charted and sold reasonable well. Many copies were printed, so it’s not that rare.

The only way to distinguish the 62 version from the 63 version is to look at the typeface used on the labels. Other than that they look exactly the same. The 62 version uses a thicker/broader typeface compared to the 63 reissue.

The record comes with a brand new paper/poly inner sleeve and a high quality mylar outer sleeve. Flat rate shipping for this auction will be $6.00 for USPS Priority mail with insurance for the lower 48 states only.
