Mega rare “Readers’ Digest” 10 LP box set entitled

“Best of the Beatles”

Bidding is starting at the absolute bargain price of £69.99 - no reserve!!!

This box set was pressed in Taiwan in very limited numbers and released only in Taiwan – presumably it was only available to Taiwanese subscribers of the local version of Readers’ Digest or by mail order. The labels have Chinese writing all over them but the song titles are in English.

3. Beatles Greatest Hits # 2

4. Hey Jude

5. Let It Be

6. Revolver

7. Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

8. The Beatles (actually “Rubber Soul”)

9. White Album #1

10. White Album #2

All LPs are Stereo and appear to be in Very Good condition for their age with only slight surface marks and scuffs. The box is sound and just has some minor wear. I understand that this set was produced in the early 1970s.

Each LP is numbered as follows:-

LP 1 (km-1006-1-a (side 1) and km 1006-1-b ( side 2)

LP 2 (km-1006-2-a (side 1) and km 1006-2-b ( side 2)

LP 3 etc etc

Beatles collectors of mispressings and/or spelling anomalies will love this set. The spelling of many of the song titles on the LPs are wrong, for example,

On the White Album it's shown as 'yeh blues' instead of 'yer blues' and 'sauoy tuffle' and 'reuolution'.

On the Revolver LP 'and your bird cannsing'

On Abbey Road 'maxwue's silver hammer'

There are lots more anomalies…………….
